There was a brooding silence that shook the hearts of millions. Rubble crowded the shipyard, smoke raising from ashes of that which past. The divisions were distinguished, and each was about to make a move. The oceans of orange glinted a sunlight not seen in many years. It would not stay for long. Those oceans began to bubble with shrieks and squeals of protest. The brown land was racked with a violent tremor. The woods let out roars of defiance. Suddenly, an un-opaque green creature darted from within, loping up to stand atop the piles of rubble. It let out a war cry like no other. The war had begun.

Without warning, the black dirt churned and burst open. There, writhing on the ground, were two long, translucent, colorful, worm-like shapes. One slithered quickly up to the mound on which the hulking green beast stood. It let out a toothy shriek and shot its indistinguishable head forward. The green beast swiftly batted it away with a claw, rearing up on its hind legs. That battle continued as the other writhing, worm-like shape held its head in the air, sniffing the nearby scents. It had just locked on when a bullet came sizzling out of the forest, striking it in the head and incapacitating it. Just then, a ragged man with impressive five-o-clock shadow stumbled out of the deep woods with a last-stand pistol in hand. He called into his intercom:
“Alpha, this is Monte, do you hear me? We got worms, man. I repeat, WE GOT GUMMI WORMS!”
